What hinders learning? Stress affects brain connections that are responsible for learning and remembering. When we have to learn under pressure and we need to memorize data statically without experience or making sense of it, the learning material is stored with stress. This way the learned information fixates passively. It means that we cannot recall the information at the appropriate moment when we want to use that. This is how learning blind spots develops and appear in learning difficulties, troubles in focus, inability to remember details, etc. Brain Gym is a method that we use for eliminating learning blind spots so that we can prevent learning disabilities and reach a more enjoyable and effective learning experience in the case of children and adults as well.
As a school preparation: with using stress management practices before school age, we can facilitate the first school experiences for our child. This way we can easily prevent learning difficulties and disabilities and contribute them joyful learning experiences.

Children have to memorize a lot of information within a very short time. When there is not enough time to process the information, it causes stress. As information overload and lack of time makes stress on their learning experience, which causes blind spots in learning process and results in learning difficulties in long term. Learning difficulties are learning blind spots and not general weaknesses or incapacity of people.
Stress on learning experience blocks the learning process. Without the brain connection, learning blind spots evolve such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia or difficulties in attention and concentration. With BG we release stress that causes learning blind spots and learning difficulties. Connected brain function makes the learning process more effective as it improves our understanding, reading, writing, counting and writing skills, so we can take the maximum out of ourselves within less time and energy. This way, learning becomes success and stops being a struggle to achieve good results.
Symptoms of stress caused by information overload in children:
• can not permanently pay attention to an activity that is appropriate for the age (playing, homework, conversation, story telling, etc.)
• The attention is easily distracted.
• Often scattered and forgetful.
• Often make mistakes and clumsy in school assignments.
• Can not organize his/her tasks, for example: self-study.
• The time spent on home work and learning is too much compared to the curriculum or its difficulty.
• It is difficult to memorize the curriculum even after many repetitions.
• Superficially remembering the information and skipping a lot of part information, that learned at lessons.
• Start a lot of things, to it but does not finish any of them.
• Lose things often: booklet, exercise book, school supplies (rubber, ruler, PE bag), key, snack
